This bit here is such a testament to Con O'Neill's acting because it's so painfully real.
You're on the verge of breaking into tears, but you think you have it under control. Then one tiny little thing has it all unraveling, and you open your mouth to say you're fine but it gets caught in your throat and you can feel the sob threatening to leap out of your chest and you hate yourself for not being able to control it. You clench your fists and take a breath and look upward, hoping to summon the strength to delay the crying until you can be alone, but it doesn't come and you're left to collapse into a pathetic sobbing mess right in front of everybody
